Booking & Changes
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour for a full refund.
Can I reschedule my tour?
Yes. You may move your reservation to another available tour or time up to 2 hours before your scheduled start time.
Rescheduling within 24 hours does not make the reservation refundable. The original 24-hour cancellation deadline still applies.
Should I book in advance?
Yes, especially for evenings, weekends, holidays, and busier travel periods. Tours can sell out, and booking ahead gives you the best choice of times.
Before Your Tour
Where does my tour meet?
Meeting points vary by tour. The exact location is listed on the tour page and in your booking confirmation.
Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early so you have time to find your guide and get settled.
What happens if the weather looks bad?
Savannah weather changes quickly, especially in summer. A passing shower or an earlier pop-up thunderstorm does not automatically mean the tour is canceled.
We pay attention to conditions around tour time. If Mad Cat needs to cancel a tour, we will contact affected guests.
How much walking is involved?
These are walking tours, but they are designed as sightseeing experiences rather than endurance events. Most tours last about 90 minutes to two hours.
Our Savannah True Crime Pub Crawl, for example, covers roughly a mile at a relaxed pace.
I have an accessibility or mobility question. What should I do?
Contact us before booking and tell us what you need. Routes and historic locations can vary, so we would rather answer your specific question than give you a vague one-size-fits-all promise.

Choosing a Tour
Are the pub crawls 21+?
Yes. Our pub crawls are 21 and older. Bring a valid photo ID.
Traveling with kids? Our Fraidy Cat Ghost Tour is designed for families.
Are drinks included on the pub crawls?
No. Drinks are purchased individually, so you can order what you actually want — or skip a drink entirely.
In Savannah's Historic District, local open-container rules also make it possible to take an approved to-go drink with you as the tour continues.
Is the True Crime Pub Crawl a ghost tour?
Nope. It is true crime: researched Savannah murders, scandals, crimes of passion, unusual cases, notorious characters, and mysteries.
No jump scares. No haunted-house routine. The stories are interesting enough without somebody hiding behind a bush.
Is Fraidy Cat actually family-friendly?
Yes. Fraidy Cat was built specifically for families who want Savannah ghost stories, history, atmosphere, and a few chills without turning the night into nightmare fuel.
Grown-ups still get a real tour. Kids simply don't have to spend the rest of the vacation sleeping with every light in the hotel turned on.
Do you offer private tours?
Private tours may be available depending on the tour, group size, date, and guide availability.
