The Fraidy Cat tour by Lance was very engaging and kept the attention of our two boys 9 and 11 including us. He was very knowledgeable about Savannah and had great story telling capabilities. He was funny also threw in some helpful hints for restaurants in the area as well. I was impressed we covered so much ground in 90 minutes. I highly recommend this tour to learn a little about Savannah history and enjoy some fun ghost stories on the way!

Very family friendly. The ghost stories told were at the right level for our 9 and 6 year old but also engaging for the adults. Our kids were spooked enough. We had a great time on our tour! My husband took our 14 and 11 year old children on this tour and it was a blast! It was just creepy enough where they were interested and spooked out, but not fearful (although they did sleep w their lights on that night!) Lance was engaging and knowledgeable throughout the ghost tour about all the places we visited. We do wish we could have physically gone in more places, but I think that’s just the city’s restrictions on entering these places at night. Overall, happy with our experience and definitely think this was worth the money

This was a great night time tour through Savannah. Lance was very personable and told great ghost stories about the various locations we walked by and stopped at. He had a great knowledge of Savannah’s rich history and shared that with everyone. It was great that he would take the time to let everyone catch up and gather round before he started to share about a particular location, as it was a large group. I’d highly recommend this tour. There was only four of us in the group and she made sure to make it a super special experience and went out of her way to do extra experiences with how small the group was. This was such a fun and informative ghost tour. We took 4 tours on our trip and found this one to be the most engaging. This was largely due to our guide, Nina, who was so engaging and sweet. She kept us on the edge of our seats, while keeping it family friendly for the kids on tour. We felt like we were hanging out with a friend the whole time. Awesome experience! Perfect mix of storytelling and historical facts. We took our 13 and 11 year old and the spookiness level was just right for them. We left our extra sensitive 8 and 6 year olds at home, and it was the right call for us, but there were younger children on our tour who loved it. Really appreciated the more intimate sized group as opposed to some of the jumbo walking or bus tours we saw while we were out.

We had a good tour. We brought our dog and child and specifically booked this tour because we found it on a pet travel app. It was spooky in a fun way and a nice chance to see some of the city. It was laid back and full of Dad jokes. It was very appropriate for children and well behaved dogs.

Sandy was full of history about Savannah and the stops that we made. it was a bit fast paced for someone with a walker but the rest of the family had no problem keeping up with her. Luckily for me when she did stop at a point of interest I was able to sit down and rest. The sidewalks and streets are not very accommodating to wheelchairs or walkers. I guess it’s due to all the bodies buried beneath them.

Sandy was our host and she was bubbly, knowledgeable and awesome! The tour was super family friendly and I think my 9 & 11 year old were reassured when they saw even younger kids on the tour. My daughter almost tried to back out due to being scared, but the tour was totally tailored to kids and families alike… just spooky enough to be cool. Be aware… it’s a lot of walking… it’s a walking tour after all…If you have kids, I Suggest bringing water and a few snacks and using restroom beforehand, as these are not part of the actual tour. My mother is not a great walker and started to peter out toward the end, so be prepared to have stamina if walking is any sort of issue for you. Cool spots, great storytelling!

When the description mentions rain or shine – they really mean it! Our guide Lance met us even though it was a rainy night. He is a real trooper. We didn’t have umbrellas or ponchos so we ended up leaving the tour early. The tour was great during the time we were there.

Lance was a phenomenal guide. Having been in the area as long as he has, it was great to have a guide that could tell stories in such a way that I was a little scared. My sister and I went on this tour on a Tuesday evening. Our tour guide was Lance and he was amazing. Great story-telling, learned some Savannah history, and had some laughs along the way. I was intrigued the whole way through and we even got a spooky figure in one photo and an orb in another. There were a few other walking tours out but since it was a weeknight they were also small groups. Our group was probably 8-10 people total. Very easy walk (not sure why there were some reviews complaining about the walk. If someone can’t walk/stand for at least an hour maybe they shouldn’t book a walking tour). I’m not an avid hiker or anything and it was a perfectly comfortable walk. Appreciated that they only do small groups and don’t over-embellish or make up elaborate stories. If you want an authentic tour with some cool cats, book with these guys.

Lance was very knowledgeable using fact based history along with humor. I would highly recommend this tour over others just for that purpose alone. You not only get a ghost tour but also a history lesson and other tidbits about Savannah. Tour was about 1.5 hours long yet we were able to add in more stops. Family friendly but will not disappoint those looking to experience ghosts. Hint… make sure your camera is on burst shooting mode before you start the tour. My only regret is we took the tour on our last night. After hearing all the history etc I would have liked to go back to visit sites mentioned and spend time in areas mentioned that i didnt not know existed. Guess that means we will just have to come back.

We loved the Fraidy Cat Walking Ghost Tour! We took our two kids aged 5 and 8 and they were thoroughly spooked but without being frightened to death! They took it all in stride. The walking was at a great pace, and the stories appeared to be factually based, without too much embellishment, although told with flair and humor. Many of the jokes went over the kids’ heads, which was fine, and we learned a lot about the history of the area as well as the ghostly activity, some stories even came with photo evidence! We had so much fun on the Fraidy Cat Ghost Tour! Lance did a great job leading us all around this great city and telling us stories. I like that he didn’t embellish or go over the top with anything, but seemed to focus on truth rather than formulaic tropes and scare tactics.
We were able to listen in on other ghost tours as we walked past a few and I was super thankful that we had chosen this tour among all of the possibilities. The tours we were overhearing were not always factual and seemed to rely on jump scares and exaggerated stories to captivate their audiences.
We had our 3yo son and 6yo daughter with us and Lance was able to keep everything super creepy without traumatizing the kids!
I appreciated that Lance has both an insider and outsider perspective of Savannah. He came from California but has been living in Savannah for 19 years.
He also gave some AWESOME restaurant recommendations! We made sure to go to Bella Napoli which was amazing and we also had the Shepherds pie from Sixpence Pub. It was delicious! Thanks, Lance!
We had a great vacation overall, but my husband said that this was his favorite part of the whole trip – I think that sums it all up!

Our host Cassandra was absolutely amazing. She shared the best stories and she did wonderful with my 2 nephews (6 and 12) in our group. She made sure we were able to stay in the shade, had a nice pit stop halfway through our tour to get drinks and cool off, and just overall felt so comfortable with her!! Kerry was awesome and provided a super interesting ghost tour. He went into great detail in a humourous way, and kept the group’s attention the whole time, young and older. Everyone was enthralled for 90 minutes. We could have listened to his stories all day long. We’ve been to Savannah 6 times and we only wish we’d taken his ghost tour sooner. We saw several ghost tour groups in the square we started and stopped in and heard slightly different variations of some of the stories. Very intimate group (which we prefer over other groups we saw of 30 or more). We had 9 people.
Walking is much more hands on as well compared to trolley or bus tours. No drinking – which we loved. Other groups definitely focus more on drinking and less on the actual tour. Not to mention no one was getting out of hand or spilling their drinks on anyone.
Kerry knows soo much about Savannah. He could answer any question we had and makes everything fun and easy going. I wouldn’t have known literally any of the history of Savannah that he shared with us if it wasn’t for him because there isn’t many landmarks or public info available. Definitely a must if you want a ghost tour that is more based in historical creepy facts and just enough ghost stories to keep everyone entertained.

Did a “VIP tour” with my guide Horizon because I was the only person who signed up! She was so awesome! Really animated & into what she was telling me about! We ended up spending almost 3 hours together between the tour content & just chatting about life. She definitely did not have to go out of her way to spend the time answering all my questions & chatting & such, but she did an excellent job in providing a positive experience. I didn’t even realize how much time had elapsed, otherwise I would have left her with a bigger tip. Anyway, I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you know you’ll be coming during a slower time and in a smaller group. My impression is that the tour guides do an excellent job of catering their stories to the audience, providing a more personalized tour experience.

Great ghost experience, even for wheelchair 18 year old! We were worried about getting in and out of trolleys and or belligerence on a pub tour. This host was as accommodating as historic Savannah would allow and a great story teller to boot!

Not only did he go into detail at the stops on our tour but also was able to answer questions about other histories that weren’t accessible by foot (ask him about where to see the last known remaining grave bell!). My sister and I really enjoyed this walking tour. I’ve been to Savannah before just passing through so this was my first time really getting to see the city. Kerry is obviously very passionate about history and haunted history. What I enjoyed most, is it didn’t feel like he’s done this 1000 times and is just going through the motions. The tour was really fun and interesting, I’ve been to Savannah many times but I have never done a walking tour or tried digging deeper into the rich history of the city. The landmarks were beautiful and the cemetery was creepy but I would have liked a little more of a story about the hauntings to make it creepier..but I personally like being scared. Overall the tour was really fun, informative and Kerry was very nice and charming. You can tell he’s very knowledgeable of the history of Savannah. Would recommend!
